AceShowbiz - Naomi Watts, the talented British-Australian actress, has recently navigated the emotional turbulence of losing her beloved grandmother. Just days after sharing her heartbreak over her grandmother's passing, Watts put on a brave face as she made public appearances in New York City. The "21 Grams" star announced the death of her paternal grandmother, who lived to be 101, on social media, writing, "Our Granny Watts made it to 101 and a half... Last night she rested in peace. RIP."
Previously, Watts also grieved the loss of her maternal grandmother, Nikki Roberts, who passed away last month at 99 after suffering from a stroke. The actress honored Nikki in a heartfelt Instagram tribute, praising her no-nonsense attitude and feisty spirit. "My darling Nanna has left this world but her spirit will never leave us," Naomi wrote. "I'm truly blessed to have had the most wonderful relationship with her. She is such a huge part of who I am: her core values, her work ethic, and her mischievous humor and joy of life."
Despite her grief, Watts has continued to fulfill both personal and professional commitments. She recently appeared on "Today With Hoda & Jenna" to promote her menopause solutions brand, Stripes Beauty. Dressed in a chic all-white ensemble, Watts shared her journey of going through early menopause at the age of 36 and her desire to shed the stigma around it. "When I found out I was going into early menopause, I called my mum and said 'Why didn't you tell me more?'" Naomi revealed. "And she said 'These are the conversations my mother never had with me,'" highlighting the generational silence surrounding the topic.
