AceShowbiz - "The Voice" has allegedly selected celebrity mentors for its upcoming season 8. Young stars Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor and Ellie Goulding as well as veteran artist Lionel Richie have been booked to assist the show's coaches during the battle round stage, Us Weekly reports.

According to the site, Nick will help Team Christina Aguilera, Meghan will team up with Blake Shelton, Ellie will assist Team Adam Levine, and Lionel will mentor Team Pharrell Williams. Lionel has previously served as mentor on the show in season 2, while the other three singers have appeared as musical performers before.

The new season of "The Voice" premieres on Monday, February 23 on NBC. Christina, who is one of the original coaches along with Adam and Blake, returns to the singing competition series after taking two consecutive seasons off. Pharrell, meanwhile, first joined the show in season 7 to fill the spot left by Cee-Lo Green.
