Snoop Dogg has become a grandfather. His eldest son Corde Broadus welcomed a baby boy with Jessica Kyzer. The 43-year-old rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday, January 14 to announce the happy news to his 4.1 million followers, posting some photos and a video of his grandson Zion.
Snoop posted a photo collage of his newborn grandchild being held by his family. "Zion. U have a lot of love WAitn on u grandson !!" the "Young, Wild & Free" rapper captioned it. He then shared a video of his eldest son Corde Broadus holding the adorable baby along with caption, "Proud grandad. My son spank n grandson Zion !! Jah bless."
Snoop's wife Shante Broadus shared a photo of her holding the newborn child. "My First Born @1lovesociety Gave Me My First #Zionkalvin #Mamatae," she wrote alongside the photo. The "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper reposted the snap along with caption, "Proud grandma @bosslady_ent."
The new bundle of joy is Snoop's first grandchild. The "Wiggle" rapper is a father to three children, 20-year-old son Corde, 17-year-old son Cordell and 15-year-old daughter Cori.
On Wednesday, Snoop's new docuseries "Snoop & Son" premiered on ESPN. The docuseries is about Cordell's hopes of playing high-level college football next year. Snoop's new album with Pharrell Williams, "Bush", is due in mid-March.
