It looks like Justin Bieber has started working on his new album and has hired Rick Rubin for it. His manager Scooter Braun shared on Instagram on Wednesday, January 14 a photo of the Canadian singer posing with the producer. "Working on some history!" he captioned the snap.
According to a new TMZ report, Bieber and Rubin had their first studio session together on Tuesday night. Sources told the site the "Baby" hitmaker decided to team up with the producer because he wanted an "urban" flavor to his new music.
Rubin is undeniably one of the biggest hitmakers in the industry. The Def Jam Records founder has worked with everyone from high-profile rappers like Jay-Z, Kanye West and Eminem to pop stars like Lana Del Rey, Lady GaGa and Adele.
The photo with Rubin surfaced just days after Bieber confirmed that he'd be coming back with a new full-length and a new tour later this year. "I'm going to start working on a new album and a tour for 2015," the 20-year-old heartthrob told V Magazine. "I took the last year off and I'm excited to get back to work."
