Jeremy Renner made a joke about Jennifer Lopez's cleavage during the 2015 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday, January 11. Jennifer wore a cleavage-baring Zuhair Murad dress which featured a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit in the center.

Jeremy and Jennifer were onstage to present the award for the best actor in a television mini-series or movie. After they mentioned all the nominees, Jeremy asked the star of "The Boy Next Door", "You want to open it?" while looking at the envelope carried by her. "You want me to do it?" she told him, "I have the nails."

"You've got the globes, too... um!" the star of "The Avengers" told Jennifer while glancing at her boobs. The "On the Floor" songstress then reacted with a stunned look on her face. Jeremy then proceeded to announce Billy Bob Thornton as the winner. Jennifer could be seen laughing and hitting Jeremy's chest with the envelope shortly afterwards.

On the red carpet of the ceremony, Jennifer commented on her dress to Ryan Seacrest. "I love [Zuhair Murad], he's one of my favorite designers," she said, "I actually had it at the AMAs, but I was like, this is more of a Golden Globes dress."

Some Twitter users slammed Jeremy for his joke. Steph Brown wrote, "JLo should have punched Jeremy Renner in his stupid face." Wrap Around Curl tweeted, "And that's how Jeremy Renner died. Smacktalking JLo." While John Maffeo posted, "Jeremy Renner wants to do terrible things to Jennifer Lopez right now. #GoldenGlobes."

Other users showed their support to the "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" actor. Scott Fox tweeted, "Jeremy Renner made the same joke any of you would have made if you were on stage at the Golden Globes with a hard on. #Z1035Globes @JLo." Nathaniel Rogers posted, "Cute. Jeremy Renner trying to convince us he's interested in JLo's globes." Enty Lawyer, meanwhile, wrote, "Well Jennifer Lopez doesn't have to worry about Jeremy Renner hitting on him. You know, because he is getting divorced."
