AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez is reportedly getting close to scoring a major deal in Las Vegas. Caesars Palace is allegedly eager to sign up the "American Idol" judge for a residency show after she successfully rocked New Year's Eve at the venue.

According to TMZ, the performance was meant to be a trial to see if J.Lo was a sufficient draw for a full-on residency. The year's end concert was sold out, and "The Boy Next Door" actress reportedly received approximately $410,000.

In related news, Jennifer Lopez was rumored getting cozy with her ex Casper Smart during the NYE concert in the Sin City prompting rumor that they had rekindled their romance. The couple dated in 2011 after her split from Marc Anthony and then broke up in summer 2014.

J.Lo is currently serving as a judge on "American Idol" with a multi-million dollar payday. She is joined by Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.

If she goes to Vegas for a residency show, she will follow the likes of Sir Elton John, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, and Britney Spears. The former child actress got around $30 million for her two-year residency.
