The 'Big Bang Theory' star apologizes if her statements in Redbook magazine, in which she said she's not a feminist, offended some people.

AceShowbiz - Kaley Cuoco has backtracked on her feminism comments after some people took issue with her interpretation on feminism published in the February issue of Redbook. The actress took to Instagram on January 1 to apologize to anyone offended by her statements, hinting that her words were "taken out of context."
"In my Redbook article, some people have taken offense to my comments regarding feminism," she wrote, "if any of you are In the 'biz' you are well aware of how words can be taken out of context. I'm completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others. I apologize if anyone was offended. Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant."
Cuoco received some backlashes after saying in an interview with the magazine, "Is it bad if I say no?" when asked if she considered herself a feminist. "It's not really something I think about," she added.
"Things are different now, and I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around," she continued. "I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that's because I've never really faced inequality."
The apology aside, Cuoco shared some never-before-seen pictures from her wedding to Ryan Sweeting in honor of their one year anniversary. In one photo, she danced with her now husband. "One year ago today I married someone who truly changed my life. Ryan, you are kind, gentle, patient, giving, silly, and the most loving creature on earth. You are my everything. Happy 1 year anniversary my love," she captioned the image.
The Penny of "The Big Bang Theory" recently had a sinus surgery. She praised her tennis player hubby who has been taking of her during her recovery. "Happy new year from my husband who did not have painful sinus surgery and his wife who did!!!! (He's actually being a saint taking care of me but this picture is still kinda funny)," she wrote along with an image showing the high-spirited Sweeting and the tired-looking Cuoco.
