Another romantic movie adapted from Nicholas Sparks' work is set to hit cinemas soon. The famed author, whose works such as "The Notebook", "Safe Haven" and most recently "The Best of Me" were already adapted into movies, is serving as one of the producers in the new adaptation, "The Longest Ride".

The first trailer from the romantic drama hit the web on Monday, December 22, showing Scott Eastwood and Britt Robertson as a young couple with growing love. "We come from such different worlds, but I've never felt this way about anybody," she says.

Eastwood, playing a bull rider named Luke who performs dangerous stunts, one day sees a car crash involving an elderly man named Ira (Alan Alda) during a drive with Robertson's Sophia. As Sophia befriends the injured man, she learns the stories of him and his wife (played by Oona Chaplin) in the '40s and finds an unexpected connection between her and Ira despite the different timeline. "Love requires sacrifice," Ira says.

Directed by George Tillman Jr. ("Notorious," "Faster") with the script by Craig Bolotin based on Sparks' work of the same title, the film also features Jack Huston as the young Ira. It is hitting U.S. theaters on April 10, 2015.
