AceShowbiz - Elton John, 67, and his longtime partner David Furnish, 52, are officially married. Nine years after entering a civil partnership, the couple finally exchanged wedding vows over the weekend in front of family and friends at their Windsor estate in Berkshire in England.
Live updates were given online via Elton's Instagram created just two days before the wedding. The ceremony took place December 21 after he and David signed the court paperwork earlier on Sunday. They made their union official after gay marriage recently became legal in the country.
Elton and David's sons Zachary, who will turn 4 on Christmas Day, and Elijah, who is 23 months old, served as the ring-bearers. Red roses, which Elton said brought them "good luck" at their civil ceremony nine years ago, dominated the decorations at the event over the weekend.
David Beckham & wife Victoria Adams attended the wedding with their children. Elizabeth Hurley & son Damian were in attendance as well. Elton is the godfather of Beckham's two eldest sons and Hurley's son. Other guests included actor Hugh Grant, singer Ed Sheeran, and comedian David Walliams & wife Lara Stone.
