Charlotte Emma Aitchison plays 'Boom Clap' and 'Break the Rules' during the Martin Freeman-hosted episode of the 'SNL'.

Charli XCX was the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" hosted by Martin Freeman over the weekend. The singer whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison delivered at least two songs, "Boom Clap" and "Break the Rules", from her soon-to-be-released album "Sucker".

"Boom Clap" was originally offered to Hilary Duff but she rejected it. It was later recorded by Charli for the soundtrack of "The Fault In Our Stars" starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort and was then included in her new CD.

The NBC variety show was opened with Freeman bragging about his British celebrity friends. The "SNL" first-time host later combined "The Office" and "The Hobbit" in a sketch where his Bilbo Baggins is now working at a paper company post his quest in the Middle-Earth.
