Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z are celebrating the rapper's 45th birthday in Iceland. The couple, who arrived in the Nordic country on Monday, December 1, is reportedly staying at the luxurious Trophy Lodge resort.

Beyonce and Jay-Z were seen visiting Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa on Thursday, December 4. In a photo obtained by E! Online, they were seen wearing thick outfits while walking away from a helicopter. The pair were also reportedly taking a helicopter over an active volcano.

Juliana Oharah, a niece of the helicopter pilot who's hired by Beyonce and Jay-Z, told Radar Online that the couple's family arrived in Iceland with Blue Ivy on Thursday. "They came before the party guests to have a few days to themselves," she said of the couple's family, "They booked two more helicopters for sight-seeing [on Friday]."

Juliana said the party had a heavy security in order to ensure the couple and their guests could privately enjoy the night. "Bey and Jay slow danced to 'Let's Stay Together' by Al Green," she added.

According to Juliana, the couple left Iceland on Friday. "Jay Z, Beyonce, Blue and her nanny went in one plane to California," she said, before adding that some of their friends stayed behind to enjoy sightseeing in the country. She said Jay-Z left a 2000 Euro tip for his uncle.
