Two suspects who attacked Corey Sligh on Thanksgiving were charged with multiple felony counts, The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office announced on Tuesday, December 2. Corey, who was hospitalized after the incident, was released from the hospital on Sunday morning.

According to NBC News, Dusan Lilic and Nikola Ilic were charged with "assault with a deadly weapon, driving under the influence causing injury, driving with a .08 blood alcohol content causing injury, battery with serious bodily injury and assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury."

The prosecutors said that Corey was walking to a store with his girlfriend when the incident happened. Dusan and Nikola, who were driving erratically, got pissed when Corey and his girlfriend asked them to stop and leave.

According to the prosecutors, Dusan opened the car door striking Corey, who was then hit by the vehicle. "The vehicle drove away, but Lilic and Ilic returned and began beating Sligh, who suffered a broken arm and other injuries," the prosecutors stated.

If convicted on all counts, Dusan will face a maximum sentence of seven years in state prison, while Nikola will face a maximum sentence of four years behind bars.

On Monday, Corey told The Wrap that he didn't have grudge against Dusan and Nikola. "I have no hatred for these guys," he said, "It was pretty scary [being] on the hood of that car, but I'm happy to still be able to move my neck. I'm happy to have the problem of relearning to walk instead of not being able to walk at all. I'm pretty blessed."

"People can be cruel, but I'm not going to worry about it," the star of "The Young and the Restless" added, "I'm just trying to get back to normal. Just trying to get back to acting."
