Rita Ora returned on Wednesday, October 22 with a new song titled "Grateful". The empowering mid-tempo ballad was written by Diane Warren and was recorded by the British beauty for the upcoming romantic drama "Beyond the Lights".

On the song, Ora talks about being thankful for everything she's learned in life. "I'm grateful for the storm made me appreciate the sun/ I'm grateful for the wrong one made me appreciate the right one/ I'm grateful for the pain, for everything that made me brave," she sings.

"Gina Prince-Bythewood [director of 'Beyond the Lights'] made an amazing movie that shows what really goes on beyond the lights of fame. I am so happy [Ora] had me write this song," Warren told Billboard.

"I'm so proud of it and Rita Ora did an amazing vocal. I think it can be a career song for her. It shows a whole different side to her and I'm hoping we get to hear it all over the radio and see her sing it on the Oscars next year!" she added.

"Grateful", along with tracks from Nicki Minaj, Yuna and Machine Gun Kelly, will appear on the "Beyond the Lights" soundtrack album that's coming out on November 11. Machine Gun Kelly will also star in the film which hits U.S. theaters on November 14.
