Shia LaBeouf opens up about his feud with director Fredrik Bond. The actor got involved in a physical altercation with the helmer while on an acid trip on the set of "Charlie Countryman". He says he took LSD during the filming due to a "lack of control caused by irrational commitment."
Speaking to Interview magazine, the star recalls, "He wanted to break for lunch while I was tripping on drugs. I was like, 'We can't break for lunch, I'm on f***ing drugs.' " The former Disney star continues, "Right after that acid trip, I was choking [Bond] - my trainer had to pull me off him."
LaBeouf also didn't have a close relationship with Oliver Stone who directed him in 2010's "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps". "I think he felt that I was an imbecile and talked down to me the whole time, so that I looked up to him like a scholar," he says, calling him a "manipulator" who made him "feel so stupid."
In the same interview, the former child actor addresses his dispute with Alec Baldwin which led to his exit from Broadway play "Orphans" in 2013. "My whole goal was to intimidate the f*** out of Baldwin," he explains, adding that he wanted the "30 Rock" actor "to be scared."
"I was trying to take my mind off the play, but I couldn't do it," LaBeouf recounts. "So I would follow him from rehearsal to his home. I needed to have closure." The two, however, have since made peace. Baldwin even sent an emotional email that made LaBeouf cry after his court date over "Cabaret" arrest.
Of his controversial plagiarism scandal where he ripped off Daniel Clowes' comic for his short film, LaBeouf reasons he did it because of "a fear of my own ideas."
LaBeouf's newest movie "Fury" is currently in theaters. He shares screen with Brad Pitt and Logan Lerman. Unlike his contentious relationships with Bond and Stone, he claims he developed a strong bond with David Ayer.
