Another day, another work is getting a remake. Sony Pictures TV is reportedly planning a new version of "Bewitched", the classic sitcom that aired from 1964 to 1972, with "The Vow" scribes Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein penning the script.
The project, which hails from Lucy Fisher and Douglas Wick's Red Wagon Entertainment, is described as a modern-day take on the original series. It is being shopped around and multiple networks have already shown interest in it, according to Deadline.
The original "Bewitched" series starred Elizabeth Montgomery as a witch who marries an ordinary mortal man, and vows to lead the life of a typical suburban housewife. It was turned into a 2005 film starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell, but the movie flopped at the box office.
