Lizzy Caplan in Talks to Join 'Now You See Me 2'

She will step in the role of a female lead after the original star Isla Fisher backed out due to pregnancy.

AceShowbiz - "Masters of Sex" star Lizzy Caplan is the latest name attached to "Now You See Me" sequel. She is in negotiations to play a female lead which details are kept under wraps.

Caplan will join original stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Mark Ruffalo. Isla Fisher is pregnant with her third child, and therefore unable to film the sequel. Daniel Radcliffe was previously reported as the new addition, playing Caine's son.

"Now You See Me 2" is directed by Jon M. Chu and written by Ed Salomon as well as Pete Chiarelli. Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Bobby Cohen are producing.

"Now You See Me" became a sleeper hit when it was released in summer 2013, collecting $351 million worldwide against a $75 million budget. The sequel is set to be released on June 10, 2016.
