Taylor Swift is set to make an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" later this month to promote her new album, "1989". In addition to serving as an in-studio guest, the singer will play an exclusive concert for thousands of fans on October 23 and she will close down Hollywood Boulevard for it.

Swift isn't the first act whose "Kimmel" performance prompts a Hollywood Boulevard shutdown. In September 2013, the famous spot in L.A. was closed for Justin Timberlake and Paul McCartney's appearances on the ABC late-night show.

"1989", Swift's fifth studio effort, has been preceded by hit single "Shake It Off" and the newly-released "Out of the Woods". The latter song, which is not a single, hit the top of the iTunes chart within hours of its arrival at midnight on Tuesday, October 14.

On the album's release day, October 27, Swift will appear on "Good Morning America" for a sit-down with ABC News anchor Robin Roberts (II). On October 30, the 24-year-old superstar will return to the show for an epic concert in the heart of New York City.

Still in support of the forthcoming LP, Swift is scheduled to have an interview with Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'Donnell, Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace on "The View" on October 29. However, it's unclear if she will perform on the chat show.
