Taylor Swift's trip to Europe to promote her newest album, "1989", included a stop to U.K.'s "The X Factor". Appearing in the Sunday, October 12 episode of the singing competition, the ex-country singer treated viewers and also the judges to an energetic live performance of her latest hit single "Shake It Off".

Baring her midriff and long legs in a tight black sequined top and matching high-waisted shorts, Swift sang the upbeat track while a number of male back-up dancers in black suits and ties showed off some choreography.

"Shake It Off", which has peaked at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100, is the lead single off "1989" album that's slated to come out on October 27, 2014 via Big Machine Records. On Tuesday, Swift will be releasing a new "1989" track called "Out of the Woods".

Co-penned by Fun.'s Jack Antonoff, the song was allegedly inspired by her relationship with Harry Styles. Swift has said that the song is not her new single.

During her visit to Europe, Swift also made a stop at BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" on Thursday and hosted a listening party on Saturday. On Friday, she appeared on BBC America's "The Graham Norton Show" and revealed that she stalked the lucky Swifties whom she chose to attend the private listening parties.

"I found them on the Internet," she said. "I would go online and I would look at their Instagram pages, or their Twitter or their Tumblr or whatever and I just kind of watched them for months and months."
