The 'School of Rock' actress has been granted a permanent restraining order against Joshua Stockton, who threatened to kill himself to demonstrate his love for her.

Miranda Cosgrove obtained a permanent restraining order against a fan named Joshua Stockton, who previously threatened to commit suicide to demonstrate his love for her. The 21-year-old actress appeared in an L.A. court on Thursday, October 9 as the judge ordered Joshua to stay away from her or face time behind bars.
Joshua was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the "iCarly" alum and banned from contacting her for the next three years. He was also ordered to hand over any weapons. According to TMZ, Joshua "showed up to court wearing a big, black fur coat and a white bandana ... and seemed disoriented - when the judge asked his age, Stockton had to check his drivers license."
In her court documents, Miranda claimed Joshua was "not living in the real world" and was a danger for himself and also for her.
Last month, the "Yours, Mine and Ours" actress was granted a temporary restraining order against Joshua. At that time, she claimed he had been stalking her and sending her messages threatening suicide including an image of a slit wrist.
