Robert Downey Jr. is messing with fans. The Tony Stark depicter previously said there was no "Iron Man 4" in the pipeline and then said yes when asked by Ellen DeGeneres if he's in talks for the fourth film, but now he returns to his "no" statement.

"There's no plans for an Iron Man 4," the actor said during his visit to "Late Show with David Letterman". "There's no script for Iron Man 4, but they do have a plan and I think they're going to announce it...they've very secretive about it."

Speaking to David Letterman as part of his press tour for new movie "The Judge", Downey added, "Just between us, no, but I'm going to do other stuff with Marvel. I'm still going to be involved with Marvel and there's gonna be plenty of fun stuff to happen."
