"American Horror Story: Freak Show" has yet to premiere, but Ryan Murphy has had plans for the next installment. He told reporters on Tuesday, October 7 that he already knew what the fifth season would be about.

Official announcement about season 5 likely will come in the spring or maybe sooner this year, but fans can start guessing when "Freak Show" debuts since the first two episodes will include easter eggs that hint at where next season will be.

He has also been luring Jessica Lange, who previously said "Freak Show" would be the last for her, to return for another run. "This is her favorite season, without question," the series creator said. "I really want her to keep her hand in. Does that mean 13 episodes? Does that mean six? Does that mean one? She and I are probably going to have a dinner date when the holidays come."

On how he plans to convince her to stay, Murphy shared, "It always starts with a character for Jessica, so I think I'd have to present her with something she was very interested in. Before, I was met with a really quick 'No.' Now, I'm hearing, 'Well, let's keep talking.' So I thought that was a very good sign. ... I think if I presented her with the right character, and it could work with her schedule, she might be interested. ... That's my hope."

If it doesn't work, he already has plan B. "I'm sending her bribes every day," he joked.

"AHS: Freak Show" kicks off Wednesday, October 8 at 10 P.M. ET/PT on FX. Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson and Angela Bassett are among the returning stars. Matthew Bomer guest stars in a "really f**ked up" role.

Murphy also revealed that Neil Patrick Harris is close to signing up for the show, and Gwyneth Paltrow "would love to be on this show." He said of the "How I Met Your Mother" alum, "He's game. He had very specific ideas of what he wanted to do, and I had very specific ideas, so we're melding them."
