Sam Smith has unveiled a music video for his song "Restart". Released on Vevo on September 29, the 4-minute video shows behind-the-stage footage and preparations before the British singer takes the stage in front of thousands of excited fans.
The clip opens with Smith and his friends singing Seal's "Kiss From a Rose" and having fun in the bus before radio announcements cut in. Other scenes in the video show Smith fooling around, busting some dance moves with his crew, as well as an amazing view from the stage when fans wave according to his direction.
"Restart" is featured on Smith's debut album "In the Lonely Hour". Released in his home country in May, the album peaked at No. 1 on the albums chart in the U.K. In addition to "Restart", the album spawned other singles "Lay Me Down", "Money on My Mind", "Stay with Me" and "I'm Not the Only One".
"Restart is one of my favorite tracks on the album and I really felt like I wanted to visualize it," the 22-year-old singer told The Guardian. "I had such an amazing time putting this video together, remembering some incredible moments from this year and also a recent trip with my team to Brighton this summer."
