Kim Kardashian apparently was really scared after falling victim to red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk's recent attack at Paris Fashion Week. According to a new report by TMZ, Kardashian and her husband Kanye West have opted to maximize their protection to avoid similar incident in the future.

Sources tell the site that the reality star and her rapper husband "freaked out" after the incident. Therefore, they added two teams of armed bodyguards as well as armored cars to protect them while they were in public places during the Fashion Week. The pair, however, reportedly will get rid of the additional guards when they are back to the U.S.

The shock from Sediuk's prank apparently was not the only reason why the famous couple wanted to hire more bodyguards. The report also alleges that Kardashian and West were upset because they were followed by numerous paparazzi and fans in Paris which made the situation hard to control.

On Thursday, September 25, the 33-year-old reality star made headlines as she was attacked by Sediuk when she was going to the Balmain show alongside West and mother Kris Jenner. The mother of one lost her balance after Sediuk, who previously targeted Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio and America Ferrera among others, grabbed her legs. A bodyguard caught her and another subdued the prankster who later told Daily Mail, "I hope Kim is OK and won't be mad at me as I didn't mean any harm."
