Jason Aldean's engagement to former mistress Brittany Kerr is confirmed. She takes it to Twitter to share an intimate picture of her kissing the country music singer and showing off her new rock in the process as she puts her hand on his arm.

"We've been on cloud nine the past few days!!" she gushed. "My heart has never been more full of happiness and love... Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this man. So many blessings and memories are in our future and SO thankful I get to share them with him."

She added, "Thanks for all the support and kind words y'all have given us #love #foreverandever #itdidnthappenatthezoo #happyhappyhappy."

They were linked after caught kissing in a bar in 2012. He was still married to his high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery back then, but filed for divorce from her a year later to be with his mistress despite his initial claim that the affair was a one-time mistake and a result of drunken night. He has two daughters with his ex-wife.

"It has been two years of this s**t- get over it, already!" he recently said to Billboard. "When I finally go get enough of it and say something, every newspaper grabs it. And I'm not trying to get in the headlines - I'm just trying to get people to stop running their mouths."

Aldean and Kerr first officially stepped out as a couple at CMT Awards this year. He popped the big question to her on Wednesday, September 24 while he was in the middle of the West Coast leg of his "Burn It Down" tour.
