Taylor Swift is named best-dressed star of 2014 by PEOPLE. In a list which was released by the magazine on Wednesday, September 17, Swift is placed first among other stylish stars such as Blake Lively, Diane Kruger and Lupita Nyong'o.
Swift has been rocking stylish look on the red carpet this year. She sported a sequinned Gucci Premiere design at the Grammys and looks cool in daily outfits. "She's got great style. I need to take some notes from her!" the "Shake It Off" singer's best friend Karlie Kloss told the magazine.
Another star who is featured in the list, Lively, also rocks gorgeous pieces at formal events. To the magazine, the "Gossip Girl" alum shared how she chose her outfits. "I'll look at the runway shows on Style.com. I'll call in a rack, and then I pick from that. I think the best thing to do is whatever makes you feel most comfortable, the most confident," she said. Just like Lively, Kruger doesn't have a stylist and she sometimes asks her boyfriend Joshua Jackson for opinion when she's stuck with two choices.
Other female celebrities who make it into the list are Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone, Jessica Alba, Emma Watson, Rihanna, Chloe Moretz and "Mad Men" star Kiernan Shipka. Last year's top placer Kerry Washington is not present in the list this time.
