AceShowbiz - Nick Jonas turned 22 on September 16. The former member of Jonas Brothers, who celebrated his birthday by releasing a music video for "Jealous", received loving messages from his family who wishes him a happy birthday.
"Happy Birthday to my main duder @nickjonas #keepsmiling," said his brother Joe Jonas. He uploaded a throwback photo of the birthday boy on Instagram and decorated it with faux balloons. Another family member who wished Nick a happy birthday is his sister-in-law Danielle. She shared a photo of her adorable daughter with Kevin Jonas, Alena. "I am so excited!! Happy Birthday Uncle Nick!" read the caption.
The birthday boy also shared a throwback photo that day, uploading a photo of him as a child and a recent snap. He simply captioned the post with "#ThenAndNow."
In other news, Nick had an interview with Huffington Post Live on that day to promote his upcoming DirecTV series "Kingdom". During the chat, he shared that he no longer wore a promise ring he previously wore with his brothers as a sign of chastity.
"This is a real growth in me and not something I'm doing anymore," he said. "But I've got my set of values, things that are important to me now at this point in my life and that's all that matters."
The singer also shared more about his religious view. "I've had an incredibly intense journey with faith and religion and my growth. My belief in God is still very strong and important to me as a person, and I think that's all that should matter. The other things around it are not as important to me as my relationship with God," he was quoted as saying.
