The British actor is in talks to star in the Tom Cruise actioner for a role that could make or break him.

"Mission: Impossible V" may see "Prometheus" star Sean Harris in the villainous role. Talks are ongoing between Paramount Pictures, Sky Dance Productions and the British actor but nothing is set in stone yet.
Harris has starred in "24-Hour Party People", "Red Riding", "Southcliffe," and "Brighton Rock" among others. He is also known as part of "The Borgias" TV series cast and recently appeared in horror flick "Deliver Us From Evil". If talks are through for "M:I 5", this could be his breakthrough Hollywood role.
Shooting for the film is already underway in both Vienna and Morocco with Christopher McQuarrie on the director's seat. Lead star Tom Cruise and leading lady Rebecca Ferguson (II) were photographed performing a daring stunt atop the Vienna Opera House late last month.
The film's plot is still unknown. Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames return to their roles while Ferguson and Alec Baldwin take on new roles. The film will be released in the U.S. on December 25, 2015.
