AceShowbiz - Evangeline Lilly has given a glimpse at her look in Marvel's "Ant-Man". She is seen rocking a wasp-like haircut with blunt bangs. She also posted on Instagram a picture of herself with co-star Paul Rudd. "First day on set with #PaulRudd. #ilovemylife #antman #hopevandyne #scottlang #marvelcomics," she captioned.

As chatters on whether or not Lilly gets a Wasp suit start buzzing on the internet, Badass Digest dishes on some tidbits of the script written by Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish. According to the site, Hope is not involved in any superhero duties in the original draft. Her mother, Janet Van Dyne, better known as the Wasp in the comics, is described as "gone" but not dead.

However, it should be noted that the script has gotten a rewrite from Adam McKay. The movie which is scheduled for July 17, 2015 U.S. release is currently in production under the direction of Peyton Reed who replaces Wright. Rudd plays Scott Lang, Michael Douglas portrays Hope's father Dr. Hank Pym and Corey Stoll is cast as Yellowjacket.

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, John Slattery, Gregg Turkington and T.I. are confirmed to join the cast ensemble.
