Troian Bellisario Says GQ Bikini Pics Are 'Not Real'
Celebrity

Looking hot and smoldering, the girls of 'Pretty Little Liars' went through a lot of photoshopping process.

"Pretty Little Liars" star Troian Bellisario went point blank when it came to her and co-stars' sexy pictures on GQ. The 28-year-old said they all seemed to look perfect in the magazine's June issue spread because of Photoshopping.

Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale and Shay Mitchell were photographed wearing bikinis on poolside. "So by now you have seen many a shot from #GQ and many people have said that we were photoshopped ... OF COURSE WE WERE!" Bellisario wrote on Instagram along with a behind-the scene picture of the photoshoot that showed what was real.

She continued, "That's a very specific type of photo shoot. And looking very blown out and perfected was obviously what they were looking for. Great. Cool. As long as we acknowledge how it was achieved so we know it's not real."

The actress went on talking about the industry that she lived in, saying, "But it's the same everywhere. It's the same way on the posters of our show and even in women's magazines. This industry seems to invest more in perfection than in flaw. But flaw and individuality, to me, are what make a human being interesting, they make our stories worth telling."

Bellisario said she was not mad at how the pictures turned out because they were having fun. However, it was not the case with her co-star. Back in December 2013, Benson slammed "Pretty Little Liars" poster that made them look too digitized. "Our faces in this were from 4 years ago ...and we all look ridiculous," she wrote on Instagram. "Way too much Photoshop. We all have flaws. No one looks like this. It's not attractive."

Benson added, "Remember, you are ALL beautiful. Please don't ever try and look like the people you see in magazines or posters because it's fake. It only causes an unhealthy mind about how you see yourself. You are perfect the way you are."
