The Mother Monster opens her New York apartment's door for MTV's camera and gives Sway Calloway a tour around her place.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa showed glimpses of her New York apartment as a part of MTV Takeover on Friday, April 4. The singer gave MTV's Sway Calloway a private tour around the apartment while wearing a flowery dress.

The apartment is decorated with tropical leaf-printed walls and has comfortable sofa. GaGa then can be seen offering the MTV News correspondent a cup of tea before they headed to the rooftop to enjoy the view. "The most important thing to me about this place is I can come out here and stand outside. That's the best thing. I miss going outside," she said.

In an interview with E! News, Calloway expressed his excitement about being in the pop star's house. "That s**t is amazing!" he commented. "We [the network] weren't intending to film inside, but she was so hospitable," Calloway continued, adding that the "G.U.Y." singer "was open arms. Just really nice. She said, 'Come in! Welcome to my home.' "

"Her apartment is almost like looking like a painting that's like an optical illusion and you never see the same thing twice but you spend all day looking at it. It's such a conversation piece," he said of the star's place. "I didn't wanna overextend my liberties, then she suggested, 'Wanna come up to my room where I keep a lot of my clothes?' " Calloway added that GaGa had "a rack full of dresses that I'm sure any woman on this planet would give their right arm for."

GaGa's apartment, which previously was owned by Liza Minnelli and Tony Bennett, has a rooftop where she can enjoy the view. "She said she likes to watch people, watch the park, flowers bloom," Calloway explained. The Mother Monster keeps paintings from Tony Bennett, a beautiful coffee table and china sets from Donatella Versace as well as special gifts from fans at her home.
