In anticipation of "Thor: The Dark World" Blu-ray release on February 25, some footage from the franchise's storage lands online. After a video that shows Loki turning into one of the Avengers, now two GIFs which feature Tom Hiddleston testing for Thor role are revealed.
Before playing the God of Mischief in the franchise, Hiddleston apparently auditioned for the role that eventually went to Chris Hemsworth. In one of the sneak peeks, a shirtless Hiddleston is seen donning long blond locks and fiercely thrusting the Mjolnir hammer.
As for the previous video which shows Loki in a superhero suit, it actually gives a look at unused footage where Loki is messing with Thor. While the final version has the cameo from Chris Evans, the original sees Hiddleston's Loki donning the Captain America outfit.
The home-release version of the second "Thor" film will also include special features like Marvel's one-shot "All Hail the King" which sees Ben Kingsley reprises his role as Mandarin's impersonator and a special look at "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".
