ABC has Robin Roberts under their thumb at least for a few years to come. A report from Page Six said that the "Good Morning America" anchor has secretly inked a deal with the network to stay at the company for several years.

It was reportedly a friendly negotiation. Roberts, who took a six month absence of leave for a bone marrow transplant, "was extremely grateful for the kindness and love shown by everyone while she was sick. She made it clear to her reps that she wanted them to drive a fair deal but didn't want to create any kind of bidding war," a source said.

The long-term contract allegedly is worth between $13 million and $14 million a year. However, a source close to the network said that the value is no more than $10 million. "Over a month ago, they quietly inked a new, long-term, very high seven-figure deal with Robin that will keep [her] at the company for years to come ... it was a friendly negotiation," the insider said. "Robin's been [at ABC News] for over 20 years ....and will be a leader there for a very long time to come."

ABC is reportedly in the middle of negotiations with other anchors such as Josh Elliott, Lara Spencer and George Stephanopoulos. Elliott and Spencer in particular have been looking at the possibility of joining other networks, previous report said.
