Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt to Voice Hayao Miyazaki's 'The Wind Rises'

John Krasinski, Stanley Tucci, Darren Criss, and Elijah Wood also join the star-studded voice cast ensemble of Miyazaki's final film.

AceShowbiz - Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt are among the cast of "The Wind Rises" directed by Japanese maestro Hayao Miyazaki. Gordon-Levitt will voice Jiro Horikoshi, the designer of Zero Fighter aircraft in World War II and Blunt will voice his love interest.

The two stars are joined in the voice cast ensemble by John Krasinski, Martin Short, Stanley Tucci, Mandy Patinkin, Werner Herzog, William H. Macy, Mae Whitman, Jennifer Grey, Darren Criss, Ronan Farrow, and Elijah Wood.

Miyazaki's final film, the historical animated film was released by Toho in Japan this summer to a big success with an estimated national gross of $120 million. It will be released by Disney's Touchstone Pictures in U.S. theatres on February 21, 2014.
