The continuation to the rapper's 2000 album, 'The Marshall Mathers LP', arrives at No. 1 after selling 792,000 in its first week, Nielsen SoundScan reports.

AceShowbiz - Eminem's "Marshall Mathers 2" a.k.a. "MMLP2" has debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200. Nielsen SoundScan reports that the second installment of 2000's "The Marshall Mathers LP" has sold 792,000 in its first week.

It marks the second-largest sales week of the year, dethroning Drake's "Nothing Was the Same" which opened at No. 1 with 658,000 copies back in October. Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience" is still unbeatable as an album with the largest debut. Released back in March, the record topped the list with 968,000.

"MMLP2" also gives Eminem his seventh consecutive No. 1 album on the chart. His only record to miss the top slot was his first release, 1999's "The Slim Shady LP", which debuted and peaked at No. 2.

Another new entry at the top 10 is Celine Dion's "Loved Me Back to Life" that arrives at No. 2 with 77,000. The star is joined by fellow Canadian singer, Avril Lavigne, whose self-titled album "Avril Lavigne" rounds out the top 5 with 44,000.

The last artist to have a new album debuted in the top 10 is Pentatonix. The a capella group's "PTX, Vol. II" bows at No. 10 with 31,000, easily besting their "PTX: Volume I" which debuted and peaked at No. 14 with 18,000 last year.

At No. 3, the Robertsons from "Duck Dynasty" have their Christmas set "Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas" sitting at No. 3. Going up from last week's No. 4, the album has sold additional 73,000 copies in its second week.

Katy Perry's "Prism" falls from No. 2 to No. 4 with 61,000. Kelly Clarkson's "Wrapped in Red" and Drake's "Nothing Was the Same" slip to No. 6 and 7 with 43,000 and 37,000, respectively. Meanwhile, Lorde's "Pure Heroine" manages to keep its position steady at No. 8 with 35,000. Last week's first placer, Arcade Fire's "Reflektor", plunges to No. 9 with 31,000.
