Justin Bieber is under investigation over allegation that he sprayed graffiti on a wall when he was in Brazil. As quoted by Associated Press, O Globo newspaper reports that photographers took photos of him and his entourage spray-painting a wall outside a hotel at Sao Conrado neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday morning, November 5.

According to the newspaper, the police went to Bieber's rented mansion to ask about the matter, but he was not in the building. In Brazil, defacing buildings is crime. Offenders may spend up to one year in jail and pay a fine. In a statement, a spokesperson for the police said that they had interviewed Bieber's representative and were gathering more details of the alleged incident. Bieber reportedly already left Brazil on Wednesday afternoon for a show in Asuncion, Paraguay.

Recently, a video of sleeping Bieber which was apparently taken by a woman who had partied with him emerged online. In the 15-second clip, a man who looks like Bieber can be seen sleeping in a bedroom. A red cap was placed on the bed.

A source close to the singer, however, said that Bieber was with other male and female friends when the video was taken and insisted that there were no prostitutes. "Justin was asleep in his villa when the video was taken. There were a bunch of guys and a bunch of women hanging out, not prostitutes. He fell asleep and someone walked in and took a picture," the source explained to Daily Mail.
