David Beckham, who sat beside the Vogue editor-in-chief with his young daughter on his lap at New York Fashion Week, says that Anna was really 'sweet' to Harper.

David Beckham was nervous when he brought his daughter Harper to his wife's show at the New York Fashion Week. The former soccer player sat beside Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour during the show and he was afraid that his 2-year-old daughter would unintentionally kick Wintour.
Beckham revealed his impression of the editor in an interview with E! News on Sunday, September 15 after his wife show at the London Fashion Week. "It was the first show that she sat out there and I was sitting next to Anna [Wintour], of course," he said. "I was trying to keep Harper from... because she was standing up and she was sitting down."
"She was saying, 'I like the pink dress. I like the white dress.' Her legs were moving around and I thought, 'I don't want her to kick Anna.' But Anna was so unbelievably sweet to her. She was so sweet to her. You know, she's got children so she's used to that," Beckham recalled.
Victoria Beckham, born Victoria Adams, shared a sweet picture of her husband, daughter and Wintour on Twitter at that time. The photo shows her husband putting his hands on Harper's legs while Wintour keeps looking at the adorable tot with a smile on her face. "All eyes on Baby Harper at #SS14 Victoria Beckham #NYFW," Victoria captioned the picture.
