Movie studios are rolling out casting news for their upcoming projects. Universal adds Djimon Hounsou to the seventh installment of its street racing movie series "Fast and Furious", while Bold Films casts "Glee" star Melissa Benoist in its indie drama "Whiplash".

Hounsou will join new faces in the franchise, Ronda Rousey, Kurt Russell and Jason Statham, as well as returning cast Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Tyrese Gibson.
