Chris Brown is the latest artist to hit the stage of "Today" show at New York's Rockefeller Plaza. On Friday morning, August 30, the 24-year-old R&B crooner performed some tracks off upcoming album "X" to his loyal fans, who camped out all night to see him.

On-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran was among the crowd when Brown belted out "Fine China" and "Love More". He also performed his collaboration with Sean Kingston, "Beat It". He seemed to be in a high spirit, despite the seizure he had when hitting a recording studio earlier this month.

During an interview, host Matt Lauer addressed Brown's health condition. "I'm good, I'm good," Brown said. "Just needed some rest. That's it."

Lauer then pointed out Brown's recent Twitter rants, which the rapper posted after a judge ordered him to complete 1,000 hours of community service. "Uh, it's not my music," Brown avoided talking about his ongoing legal troubles. "I love my fans."

Brown was also asked about the retirement rumor he sparked after tweeting that his "X" album would "probably be [his] last album." "I'm just putting out the music right now. As far as how I work, I'm always going to continue to work for my fans and make sure they have fun," Brown replied.
