The pop/R'n'B singer drops a new single off his forthcoming third album 'Tattoos' due in September.

AceShowbiz - Following the release of "The Other Side" back in April, R'n'B/pop star Jason Derulo debuts another track off his upcoming third studio album "Tattoos" inspired by his girlfriend Jordin Sparks. After singing about his flourishing romance with the "American Idol" season six champion in his lead single, the 23-year-old crooner talks about marriage on his new romantic tune.

Premiering the song on Monday, August 26 over at "On Air with Ryan Seacrest", Derulo revealed that he wrote the song over a year ago, a year after dating Sparks. Even if as early as one year ago he already knew that he wanted to end up with the pretty pop/R'n'B singer, he knew "there aint no need to rush" because "we'll forever be in love," but would eventually ask her "one of theses days/ When I'll get my money right/ Buy everything and show you/ All the finer things in life."

But as Derulo told Seacrest, those are not yet his favorite lines from the song but rather the opening verse where he says, "A hundred and five is the number/ That comes to my head/ When I think of all the years I wanna be with you." The "Talk Dirty" singer shared, "It's one of those things you want to wake up next to that person forever so 105 is the number that I thought of."

Even though he's already singing about proposing, Derulo revealed on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet that he and Sparks were not yet engaged. "When the time is right, it will be right," he said, adding, "True love is true love, and that's the basis of our relationship."
