David Cassidy Arrested for DUI Again in New York

The 'Partridge Family' star has been released on $2,500 bail after failing a field sobriety test when pulled over by a police officer in New York.

AceShowbiz - David Cassidy faces another drunk driving charge. The former teen idol was arrested in upstate New York and taken to jail on Wednesday, August 21 after he was pulled over for driving with his high-beams on when he wasn't supposed to.

Police officer Tom Jones then smelled alcohol on the actor/singer's breath and administered a field sobriety test, which he failed. According to TMZ which obtains his mugshot, Cassidy blew a .10 in the breathalyzer device, while the legal blood alcohol limit is .08.

The 63-year-old, who found fame with his role as Keith Partridge on the 1970s musical/sitcom "The Partridge Family", has been released after posting $2,500 bail. He is ordered to appear in court on September 6.

Cassidy was first arrested for DUI in Florida in November 2010. He entered a no contest plea in February 2011 and was sentenced to a year's probation and ordered to attend a DUI school, pay a $500 fine as well as serve 50 hours of community service. His driver's license was additionally suspended for six months at the time.
