The rapper releases a new track from his upcoming album 'Nothing Was the Same' arriving on September 17.

AceShowbiz - After another successful staging of his very own OVO Fest just the night before, Canadian rapper Drake debuted his new single "Hold On, We're Going Home" on Chicago radio station WGCI on Tuesday, August 6. The track, a cut off his forthcoming third album "Nothing Was the Same" due on September 17, comes in the heels of his "All Me" collaboration with 2 Chainz and Big Sean released last week just days before his Toronto music festival.

Drake temporarily puts his rapping skills to rest to do some singing alongside featured crooner and fellow Canadian artist Majid Jordan. He shows off his sexy vocals on the mid-tempo tune with a seductive execution of the lyrics, "I got my eyes on you/ You're everything that I see/ I want your hot love and emotion, endlessly."

With "Hold On, We're Going Home", Drake proves once again that he's not only a talented rapper but that he can also turn on the pop/R'n'B vibe just as easily. With a love ballad such as that and some heavy collaborations with artists like Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Future, A$AP Rocky and Frank Ocean, his new album is looking to be another chart topper for the Grammy Award winner.

Boosting the anticipation for the album is Drake's two-day OVO Fest in his hometown, where the "Started from the Bottom" artist paraded an all-star line-up of performers that included Miguel, J. Cole, French Montana, Wale and Lil Mama. Making this fourth annual concert outdo the last three was the appearance of A-list MCs Lil Wayne and Kanye West.
