Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo is radiating with happiness. The Namibian model, who recently got engaged to Maroon 5's frontman Adam Levine, shared details of the romantic proposal to E! News.
The 24-year-old model said that she was "very surprised" and "very excited" when "The Voice" judge got down on one knee. "It's a new chapter of my life. And I want to cry every time I talk about it! I'm so happy. It's beautiful," she said. Behati added that "we both are very happy" with the engagement. The singer has called Behati's father for his blessing. "It went down [the] old school way. It was full on," she explained.
The model was all smiles when she talked about her fiance. Behati commented on her engagement ring, "It's from the '30s, it's vintage." The diamond ring is "a little big, that's why I'm wearing the little band." In another interview, the model gushed over the fact that Adam chose the ring himself.
The couple has been dating for one year. The pair, however, experienced a bump in their relationship and decided to split earlier this year before reuniting for good. Adam announced his engagement earlier this week following the proposal which took place in Los Angeles over the weekend.
