New footage from Disney's upcoming animated film "Frozen (2013)" has surfaced online. Unlike its teaser trailer which showed one hilarious scene featuring snowman Olaf and a reindeer, the latest video, courtesy of a Japanese entertainment show, is loaded with action scenes and even gives a first look at a scary-looking snow monster.

"Frozen" revolves around a fearless girl named Anna, who joins forces with extreme mountain man Kristoff and his reindeer Sven to find her sister Elsa, the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell, caused by a prophecy. Encountering mystical trolls and Everest-like extremes and magic at every turn, the two are in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.

Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, the movie is supported by "Veronica Mars" star Kristen Bell, who voices optimist Anna, Idina Manzel, the voice of Elsa, and Jonathan Groff, the Kristoff voice actor. Josh Gad, who will next be seen in "jOBS", is tapped to take on the role of Olaf.

John Lasseter and Peter Del Vecho serve as co-producers for "Frozen", which is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale "The Snow Queen".

"Frozen" will be released in the United States on November 27.
