Actor Colin Hanks and his wife Samantha Bryant have welcomed another addition to their family. The proud father told PEOPLE, "Ms. Charlotte Bryant Hanks has decided to join us. She's as happy and healthy as we are overjoyed and tired."

Baby Charlotte is the second granddaughter for Tom Hanks. His son, who recently appeared on two episodes of "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service", and wife are already parents to a 2-year-old daughter, Olivia Jane.

Colin and Samantha announced pregnancy No. 2 in April as they attended an opening night of Tom Hank's Broadway show "Lucky Guy" at the Broadhurst Theater in New York City. Wearing a black-fitting dress, Samantha's pregnant belly was apparent as she posed for cameras with her husband. "[We're] so excited. Very beyond," Tom's wife Rita Wilson told Us Weekly after learning of Samantha's pregnancy.

Colin apparently met Samantha through a mutual friend. They exchanged vows in May 2010 in front of 150 family members and friends after getting engaged for almost a year. Alyssa Milano, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth reportedly attended their wedding, which took place in Los Angeles.

Following the arrival of Colin and Smantha's first daughter, Tom and Rita were smitten by the adorable baby girl. "They cannot wait to just dote on this kid with every single fiber of their being. My wife and I are more than happy to give them our baby and say, 'Here, watch her while we take a nap!' " Colin said jokingly after the birth of Olivia.
