Music

The 'Voice' mentor will come out with a new solo LP and albums with his Gnarls Barkley and Goodie Mob groups.

Backstage at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, Cee-Lo Green revealed that he's releasing not just one, not even two, but three new albums this year. With his confirmed return on "The Voice" to reprise his previous role as mentor on season five of the hit reality TV singing competition, the next several months are looking to be very busy for the "Forget You" singer.

"There's a new Goodie Album which will be out August 27, a new Cee-Lo album, a new Gnarls Barkley album," enumerated Green, while also announcing the release date of Goodie Mob's "Age Against the Machine". It serves as the hip-hop act's follow-up to their 1999 album "Word Party", the last album to be released by the quartet just before Green went on to pursue a solo career.

Green said he hoped to be able to go on tour not just to support his next solo project but also his Goodie Mob's forthcoming album and his LP with Gnarls Barkley partner Danger Mouse. Surprisingly, Green even found time to squeeze in a recording with R'n'B/soul singer Janelle Monae for track on her forthcoming sophomore album entitled "The Electric Lady".

Green went onstage to present the fan-voted Milestone Award to eventual winner Justin Bieber. Other fan favorites who were pitted against Bieber for the prestigious fan-driven recognition were the night's top winner Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Miguel, Pitbull and The Band Perry.
