Insiders say that Lohan is 'definitely doing the movie' though she hasn't sealed a deal, while Sheen is set to return despite the fact that his character was killed off in the fourth film.

AceShowbiz - Previous rumors suggesting that Lindsay Lohan would star in "Scary Movie 5" might be true after all. E! News has the words that the "Liz & Dick" star has officially signed on to the fifth installment of the horror parody movie franchise. She is expected to join none other than Charlie Sheen in the upcoming film.

Weighing in on the casting report, Lohan's representative explained that "as of right this moment," the actress still hasn't sealed her deal. However, multiple insiders claimed that the 26-year-old starlet is "definitely doing the movie."

Details of what character Lohan would tackle are yet to be known. Representatives for the production haven't said anything yet to confirm her casting.

As for Sheen, sources close to the production of "Scary Movie 5" revealed that the former "Two and a Half Men" star, who has just been attached to "Machete Kills", is set to be back to the upcoming film despite the fact that his character Tom Logan was killed off in "Scary Movie 4".

"Scary Movie 5" is scheduled to hit theaters across the U.S. on April 19, 2013. Also lining up in the cast ensemble are Ashley Tisdale, Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall, Craig Bierko and Erica Ash.

The film is planned to kick off the production this September with director duo Malcolm Lee and David Zucker, who also wrote the script for "Scary Movie 3" and "Scary Movie 4".
