Lopez is deemed the most powerful celebrity this year, taking into account her rank in TV, radio, web world and social scenes among others.

AceShowbiz - With "American Idol", recording albums, clothing line and other projects in line, Jennifer Lopez has been named the most powerful in Forbes' annual Forbes Celebrity 100 list. "With $52 million in earnings over the last 12 months and a massive amount of fame, Lopez lands at No. 1 on our Celebrity 100 list for the first time," the mag's Dorothy Pomerantz wrote.

Lopez dethrones previous champion Lady GaGa who now takes the fifth position with $52 million in earnings, down from $90 million last year. At number two is Oprah Winfrey. "Her 25-year syndication run ended in May but she still managed to earn more than anyone else on the list ($165 million) thanks to her empire of spin-off shows (Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray) her magazine and her radio deal with Sirius XM," Forbes wrote.

Oprah is followed by Justin Bieber, a young entrepreneur whose $55 million income in the past year came from touring and record sales. However, the The Celebrity 100 list is not made based on money only. The list also takes into consideration the fame factors such as their rank in press, web, TV/radio and social.
