Elisabeth Moss Doesn't Think Ex-Husband Fred Armisen Was 'Normal'

The 'Mad Men' actress slammed her former husband who allegedly was seeing his 'Saturday Night Live' co-star while married to her.

AceShowbiz - Elisabeth Moss was particularly candid when talking to Page Six magazine about her ex-husband Fred Armisen. The "Mad Men" star clearly stated that her marriage that lasted for eight months was not something she would love to talk about, but if she were to sum it up, then her ex was not "normal".

Moss, who met Armisen during her "Saturday Night Live" cameo in October 2008, said, "It's so hard to talk about. One of the greatest things I heard someone say about him is, 'He's so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.' To me, that sums it up."

Moss and Armisen were married October 2009 in a private ceremony in Long Island City. Separation was announced eight months later with Moss citing irreconcilable differences. Armisen, then stepped out publicly with his "SNL" co-star Abby Elliott, just weeks later. Their marriage was officially dissolved in May 2011.

Moss said in an almost-whisper and giggle-sigh, "And I think that's...that's it. I've never told anyone that. And I don't want to waste any more of my life talking about it." When asked whether she is still in contact with him, the actress said quickly, "Oh, God, no."

Enjoying the life as a single, Moss doesn't intend to be in one forever. "I obviously want a partner in life, and I want someone to grow old with, but there's also a nice time when you're young to enjoy being you," she said. "It's fun to go out at night and not know what's going to happen. I'm addicted to and obsessed with my freedom in that sense. I'm having fun!"

She is still looking for a guy who would make her laugh and if possible, "a pretty face in the morning is lovely!" However, what she sought the most would be "honesty, honesty, honesty".
