Following the release of "The Avengers" XLVI Super Bowl spot teaser, "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" unveiled a short preview of its own commercial that will be played during the Sunday, February 5 football championship show. The footage reveals glimpses at some new action-packed scenes that were not featured in the first trailer.

The snippet, which was debuted on E.T., offers a quick look at a fight scene in a corridor, where two ninjas are attacking each other with shuriken blades. Also, there is a scene that features another battle involving a flying motorbike. A quick dialogue between lead actors Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Bruce Willis is also seen in the footage.

In the upcoming movie, the G.I. Joe team must work together to fight against mercenary Zartan and his accomplices. Having the world leaders under his influence, Zartan launches attack towards innocent populaces and has some new heavies on the payroll to keep G.I. Joe at bay.

Serving behind the lens for "G.I. Joe 2" is Jon M. Chu with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick writing the screenplay. Joining Johnson and Willis in the cast ensemble are Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki, Lee Byung Hun, RZA, Ray Stevenson, D.J. Cotrona, Ray Park and Joseph Mazzello.

This sequel to 2009's "G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra" is due to arrive in theaters across the U.S. on June 29.
