Channing Tatum Gets Into Brutal Brawl Against Woman in First Five Minutes of 'Haywire'
Movie

The sneak-peek video of the upcoming action film gives a look at Tatum's Aaron who gets involved in a fierce brawl against highly-trained female operative Gina Carano's Mallory at a cafe.

AceShowbiz - The first five minutes for female-centric action film "Haywire" have been unleashed. Making its way out via Hulu, the video opens with a scene where Gina Carano's Mallory sits alone at a cafe before Channing Tatum's Aaron joins her.

At first, they have an argument before it escalates into a serious brawl as Aaron throws his black coffee in Mallory's face and starts to smashes her head with a bottle and punches her. The fierce fight explodes as Mallory strikes back by showing off her inner brutality while getting a little help from a random young boy to take Aaron down.

Mallory is a highly-trained operative who works for a government security contractor in the dirtiest, most dangerous corners of the world. After successfully freeing a Chinese journalist held hostage, she is double crossed and left for dead by someone close to her in her own agency. Suddenly becoming the target of skilled assassins who know her every move, Mallory must find the truth in order to stay alive.

Using her black-ops military training, she devises an ingenious-and dangerous-trap. But when things go haywire, Mallory realizes she'll be killed in the blink of an eye unless she finds a way to turn the tables on her ruthless adversary.

At last year's San Diego Comic Con, Tatum shared that during the filming, Carano did all her fighting scenes on her own without any stunt double. He said, "They wore padding, but when Gina was punching Michael [Fassbender] in the ribs, she was really punching him in the ribs."

He also admitted that it's a bit hard for him to beat a woman in this film. He said, "I had to hit her [Carano] with a ketchup bottle and I couldn't do it. She called me the p-word, so then I did it for my 'manity.' But then she hit me back twice as hard, and I didn't want to do it anymore."

Serving as the director for "Haywire" is Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh with Lem Dobbs penning the script. The action film, which is due to arrive in the U.S. theaters on January 20, is also supported by the likes of Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas, Bill Paxton, Michael Douglas and Ewan McGregor.
